Meet the Garden Variety Rockstars, a family of four hailing from Rocky Mountain House, AB, Canada who have been rocking the stage since 2016. Specializing in '90's - 2000's alternative rock, their dynamic performances captivate audiences with nostalgic hits and high-energy vibes. Get ready to be transported back to the golden era of alternative rock with Garden Variety Rockstars!
Garden Variety Rockstars are available to play shows year-round, for a range of events. They can play anything from a 45-minute set to a full concert with 3 hours of music. GVR can be a 5-piece full-electric rock band or Sage can perform a solo acoustic guitar set.

Time to Meet the Band!
Garden: Introducing Juli & Jeff, the mom & dad of the family band. Alongside their pursuit of sustainable living ideas, Juli is a vocalist and has been singing for 15 years. Jeff is the rhythm guitar player and lead vocals; he's been playing guitar for over 20 years and is a big fan of Metal, Punk, and Classic Rock.
Variety: Our bass player Jayden puts the 'Variety' into the band. His talent and passion for playing bass guitar is exceeded only by his moves on stage and high-energy vibes. Ask him after the show about pasture-raised pork.
Rockstars: Let me please introduce the stars of the show, the teenagers:
Renn, our drummer, is 16yrs old and has been playing drums since he was five. He loves Foo Fighters, Megadeth, SUM 41 and the Red Hot Chili Peppers and has the skills on drums to blow your mind. As a homeschooled kid following the rock band curriculum, Renn also dabbles in ukulele and keyboard and often plays the piano intro for songs before switching to drums.
Sage, our lead guitar and lead vocalist, is just turning 18yrs old and has an abundance of talent and drive. Her guitar solos will leave your face melted and awed, while her vocals will make you look at your friends with disbelief. She started singing as a very young person, and her homeschooling path strongly supported her guitar career. She draws influences from metal bands like Megadeth, Metallica, Five Finger Death Punch and Evanescence.
